Value Investors Face Existential Crisis After Long Market Rally
In his article for The Wall Street Journal, author Michael Wursthorn describes an investment environment that has evolved to favor fast growing companies such as Apple and Netflix above those traditionally championed by value investors.
"Hunting for cheap stocks has been out of favor for so long that some self-proclaimed 'value' investors are embracing a broader mandate," he says. This creates "a potentially costly move in the later stages of an economic cycle."
